HELLO! MY NAME IS EMILY TAM
I am a set designer for the film industry based in Toronto. There is something truly fascinating and exciting about the storytelling process of film and television and being behind the scenes. I decided to join the Directors Guild of Canada shortly after I graduated from the School of Interior Design at Toronto Metropolitan University. Prior to joining the Directors Guild of Canada, I worked for interior design and architecture firms in both Toronto and Hong Kong. I hope to continue to develop my skills and continue to be a part of this inspiring process.
During my off-time, I’m always seeking inspirations by travelling to different countries to experience the culture, sights, and food. You can also find me listening to a podcast like Beautiful Anonymous, Imagined Life, or The Way I Heard It while knitting, watching way too much TV, or baking.
